You can use I-Share to search and request books from other libraries. Once you have performed a search in our catalog, click on the "Repeat Search in all I-Share Libraries?" to search other collections. If you find a book that you'd like to order, click on the "Request" option at the top of the page.

Finding Articles
- MLA International Bibliography
An international index to literature, languages, linguistics, film, and folklore from 1963 to the present. Part of Gale's Literature Resource Center, MLA can be accessed independently.

- JSTOR
An electronic archive of titles, often going back to the first issue of a journal's existence. Articles can be found in the following collections: Arts and Sciences I-IX and Life Sciences. In addition, Elmhurst subscribes to 24 journals that have current issues accessed through JSTOR.
- Project MUSE
An online library of over 325 journals from 60 scholarly publishers. Some full text dates back to 1993. Journals in this collection cover primarily the arts and humanities, and the social sciences.
- Literature Resource Center
Combines a variety of key literary resources, including MLA International Bibliography, Merriam-Webster's Encyclopedia of Literature, Contemporary Authors Online, Contemporary Literary Criticism Select, Scribner Writers Series, Twayne's and the Dictionary of Literary Biography.

If you see an "Online Full Text" option available, clicking on "Go" will take you to the full text.

If you don't see the "Online Full Text" option, see if we own the journal in print by clicking on the "We may own this option," or order the article by clicking on the "Request this item through Interlibrary Loan" link.

- Early Modern Literary Studies
Early Modern Literary Studies is a refereed journal serving as a formal arena for scholarly discussion and as an academic resource for researchers in the area. Articles in EMLS examine English literature, literary culture, and language during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries (also known as the Renaissance).

Daily Life Through HistoryA suite of databases that explore life and culture from the past to the present, allowing researchers to compare and contrast social issues through the ages. A useful resource for looking at arts and literature in the context of their times. Includes extensive teacher resources, correlating materials in the databases to the Illinois Learning Standards.
Credo ReferenceAn online collection of over 100 reference works, containing the full text of titles covering a wide range of subjects. Credo now also contains specialized titles from Sage publications. All Credo Reference titles can also be accessed through I-Share.
Gale Virtual Reference LibraryContains the full-text of more than 100 print reference titles and series, allowing you access to key reference sources without having to be in the library. Most Gale Virtual Reference titles can also be accessed through I-Share.
