- Librarians’ Index to the Internet: Librarianship – one of the best sources for reputable web resources has an entire section dedicated to librarianship; explore some of the links to get a great perspective into the inner workings of the profession
- International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) – an international organization dedicated to library and information services
