Overview
Library materials may be placed on course reserve for access by students. Please download the Course Reserves form, fill out, and return to the Circulation Desk at the library.
Notes
We ask that only REQUIRED readings be placed on Reserve.
Photocopies: We request that you limit the number of photocopies placed on Reserve. Whenever possible, links to electronic copies of articles placed in Blackboard or Moodle is preferable to paper copies placed on Reserve. For more information on how to find/create persistent links of articles, see this guide. We request that you limit the number of copies to one. If more copies of an item are needed, we ask that you write the publisher for permission and furnish proof of permission to the library before such multiple copies are placed on Reserve.
Reserve Removal: All items will be removed from Reserve at the end of the semester unless the library is notified otherwise.
Requesting Reserves: It may take up to 3 days (not including weekends) for items to be placed on Reserve. You are responsible for gathering the library materials yourself and bringing them to the Circulation Desk with the completed form. Professor name, department, course number and title, semester and requested loan period is required along with a professor’s signature.
Please do not place highly valuable personal items on Reserve unless absolutely necessary. The library will not accept responsibility for their safe-keeping.
