Things to Think About When Planning Your Trip

·        Create a storyboard, an outline or a concept map about your trip.

·        Collect websites, pictures, audioclips, brochures for your field trip site, being sure to properly cite these resources.

·        Research the web for websites related to your topic.

·        Write an introduction to your trip and include background information

·        Think of vocabulary terms, curriculum goals and state standards when asking students to find information using the links you have created on your website.

·        Like any lesson, you will have to ask engaging questions and have students identify information and transform what they have found using their cognitive thinking skills to do an activity or solve a problem.

·        Create a rubric to assess the learning outcomes of the trip.
