Critical thinking skills are a very important part of being an informed person in the world. 

What are your news sources?

Where do you get your information? 

Social Media? Where does that come from (can you tell?)

What have you heard about fake news? Why are people so concerned?

Analyze your own newsfeed

Open up your social media (Facebook, etc). Find something on your feed that comes from a news source. Use the worksheet to evaluate the item. What sources seem to be coming up over and over? Are they credible?
