Since 1908 the FBI has worked to protect and defend the United States from foreign threats. The FBI also provides leadership and services to criminal justice agencies here and abroad.

The official website of the U.S. Department of Defense has a page devoted to cybersecurity. It provides information on issues, fact sheets, links to other government agencies, and sources for related information.

The International Telecommunications Union is the United Nation's specialized agency for information and communication technologies. It has a specific gateway for cybersecurity issues.

The mission of the Department of Homeland Security is to protect the United States from threats. Cybersecurity is a special focus of the DHS, especially the federal government's cyber networks.

MI5 protects the United Kingdom from threats, including cyber espionage.

An international group that collaborates to seek answers to global issues. They launched a Worldwide Cybersecurity Initiative in 2009.

This multi state group brings together state and national government officials in order to coordinate "cyber threat prevention, protection, response and recovery for the nation's state, local, territorial, and tribal governments."

This national, bipartisan organization conduct research and analysis on policies including defense and security. Cyber security is investigated by this group within the broader domain of technology issues.
