Resources for Acting: Searching for plays

Tips for searching for plays

If you know the title of the play you are looking for or the name of the playwright you can look it up in the I-Share catalog. The library doesn't have a "plays" section, plays are located with the rest of Literature and organized by author. Librarians can help you search for and locate play texts if you need help. Use the resources on the rest of this page to get ideas for scenes for two actors, locate the plays they are part of, and also find monologue sources. Also, once you find one useful collection, do some shelf browsing for more!
