Current students, faculty, emeritus faculty, and staff may request items from A.C. Buehler Library and I-Share libraries through Bluejay Search. When the item becomes available for pick up, an email notification will be sent and the item will remain on hold for 14 days behind the circulation desk.
Items can be renewed up to three times, unless another patron has requested the item, or it has reached it's total maximum loan period of four months.
Log in to your library account to view the items you currently have out, request, or renew items.
At the time of checkout or renewal, an email providing the items due date will be sent. Due dates can also be checked at any time through your library account. Email notices will be sent when items are 7 days, and again at 21 days overdue. When an item is 35 days overdue, it will automatically be considered lost and a $50 replacement fee will be added to the borrowers account. Notification of this will be sent via email. The replacement cost will be waived if the item is returned in good condition within a year of its due date.
If items are lost or returned damaged, a $50 replacement cost for the item will be added to the borrower's account. The library does not accept replacements for lost or damaged items.
Payment for lost or damaged items can only be made by check. The check should be made payable to A.C. Buehler Library.
Lost or damaged items borrowed through I-Share follow the circulation policies of the items owning library. Contact the owning library for guidance when their items are lost or damaged.
When the limits below are exceeded, the account will be prevented from borrowing further items until the issue is resolved.

Undergraduate | 5 | $100 |
Graduate | 5 | $100 |
Faculty/Staff | 5 | $100 |
Emeritus Faculty | 5 | $100 |
