Circulation and Interlibrary Loan: Course Reserves and Textbook Collection

Course Reserves

Overview

Materials owned by the A.C. Buehler Library may be placed on course reserve for access by students.  Please complete the Course Reserve form to submit your reserve requests to the library.

Notes:

We ask that only REQUIRED readings be placed on Reserve.

Items borrowed from other libraries (I-Share and ILL items) cannot be placed on Reserve.

Requesting Reserves: It may take up to 3 days (not including weekends) for items to be placed on Reserve.

Personal Items: Professors may place personal items on Reserve. Please bring the items to the circulation desk with a printed copy of the reserve sheet or fill out a paper reserve form at the desk.

Please do not place highly valuable personal items on Reserve unless absolutely necessary. The library cannot accept responsibility for their safe-keeping.

Reserve Removal: All items will be removed from Reserve at the end of the semester unless the library is notified otherwise.

Textbook Collection

The AC Buehler Library and the Learning Center have teamed up to provide our new Textbook Collection! While we don’t have every textbook for every class, we just might have yours!

Textbook FAQ:

  • Textbooks are searchable in the I-Share catalog by title or ISBN, or we have a folder at the Circulation Desk you can look through.

  • We will need the title of the textbook to help you or the ISBN which you can get from ecampus, so bring your syllabus with you.

  • Textbooks are usable in the library for a two-hour checkout—but you can always scan pages you need. You must observe copyright parameters with your scanning - copying 10% of the complete work is a safe amount.

  • You will need your Jaypass to check textbooks out.
