Blackboard Help: Blackboard Learn App

Blackboard Learn App

Updated September 28, 2022

Blackboard Inc released a new unified mobile app on August 8th earlier this year. The new app combines what were formerly student (Blackboard Mobile Learn) and instructor applications (Blackboard Instructor) into one version and has been developed relying on client input throughout the process. The new app is called Blackboard Learn.

From Blackboard Inc....

"With our team, we continuously work on the app improvements. In the next couple of weeks, we will be enabling the new app settings so that you can have more control when transitioning through your devices. Next in line are improvements that will allow you to better manage your profile and set pronouns and pronunciation.

We have many more exciting features in our Mobile roadmap such as Messages, Grading, or Landing pages improvements so do not hesitate and start using the new consolidated Blackboard Learn App!

End of Support for the Blackboard Instructor App

The time has come to say goodbye to the Blackboard Instructor App. We would like to give a friendly reminder to any instructors, assistants, or graders who previously installed the Blackboard Instructor App, that it will reach the end of support on Friday, September 30th, 2022.
